- My first painting and decorating project was when I was 13 years old. My parents asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I wanted to paint and decorate my room. Being a single mom for many years I took jobs that paid good money. Repairing appliances for many years, then a police officer for almost 15 years and finally started my own business in 2004. I have a very supportive husband and family. At 53 years young, I love what I do, I just wish I had started sooner. I have two grand-babies and a thrid on the way. My husband is getting ready to retire in June of 2010, can't wait and I am so exicted about this year. I know that great things are coming my way.
